About The Blog

I strive to write pieces worth reading. At the moment the blog is a mix of monthly links posts, where I talk about what I have been reading, and short pieces of writing on topics that catch my eye.

About Me

A PhD student and paid forecaster with interests in American political history, progress studies with a focus on urban areas, and artificial intelligence and automation. I relax with lindy hop and writing. I’ve been blackout drunk in Oxford, extorted in Bangkok, and critiqued for using the language of the colonizer in Marrakech. I’m an effective altruist and an aspiring rationalist. For more, check out my website.

These blogs are not here because I read them, or because I generally think that they’re good. They’re here because there is nothing posted in them that, conditional on the title attracting interest to the target, I would not recommend.
